Ajay Devgn is missing his wife Kajol a lot these days. Kajol is in Sydney shooting with Kareena Kapoor for good friend Karan Johar’s Bollywood version of Stepmom. Kareena has her beau Saif Ali Khan, her best friend and filmmaker Lovely Singh for company in Sydney. However, Ajay who is wrapping up a couple of movies back-to-back can’t fly out there to be with Kajol. So guess what he has been doing. He is actually using Kajol’s car — the one he gifted her on August 5 (her birthday). Sources say the actor never uses Kajol’s car. But since he is missing his biwi so much, he feels driving around in her car, can fill some of the void. Told ya, these two Bollywood superstars are definitely a couple in love.

I’m also told the two have come to get along so well that they’ve come to share a perfect understanding as co-stars and have no qualms rehearsing with the other even for the shots when one is not exactly facing the camera.

Not only do the two actresses get chatty about anything under the sun, but it seems they bond well even after pack-up is announced.

Being a good actress has many pluses. Not only do you bag the best roles (and awards) in the business, but you find time to do a lot more. We mean , more than just movies.

We all know that Kajol is a natural, and is super spontaneous with her performances, but when we dropped in on the sets of the Stepmom remake, even we were mighty surprised. She was just so quick with her takes and went through them so smoothly, that she ended up with a lot of free time in between. While the unit went into a frenzy readying the set for the next take, Kajol would unwind and catch up on her hobbies.

We discovered she likes knitting woolies and sweaters, and between shots, she was going clickety-clack with the needles – yarn and all. Maybe she’s planning to surprise her producer and buddy, Karan Johar with a wooly this winter. With her signature style, of course! Though we’re sure he’d be much happier with the monster hit he’s expecting from her. Now we know why he chose her for this one – she’s ‘supermom’ alright. And this is no ‘yarn’.

KJo toying with Hinglish titles for Stepmom remake

After debating and brainstorming for a long time, Karan Johar has locked in three possible titles for his Stepmom remake. The producer is toying between Love You Ma, We Are Family, and Maa And Mom. Directed by debutant director Siddharth Malhotra, the film stars Kajol, Kareena and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles.

Apart from the Hinglish title, the film will also have many English dialogues. An insider says, “The second half of the film mostly takes place in Sydney and that’s where most of the interactions between the characters will be in English.” The cast has already begun shooting in Mumbai and will leave for Sydney in the next few days.

The source adds that Karan wanted to go with a Hinglish title to retain the flavour of the original film. Also the positive reaction to Wake Up Sid’s title encouraged him to go with a mix of English and Hindi. Karan says, “It can be in Hindi or English. We are looking at various options. Stepmom is just a working title. Some of the suggestions we have got are We Are Family, Maa And Mom and Love you Maa. I like them as they go with the emotional connect of the film. In a couple of days, we will lock in the final title for the film.”
